Today, I am happy to announce that InReview has reached over 9,000 total site reads. Next month, it looks like we will pass 10,000. 

Since I launched this site nearly two years ago, we’ve tripled our monthly page view count twice. Starting InReview in 2018 was a slow grow, but it’s been a fruitful one. June 13 is the site’s official anniversary, and I will probably write a post reflecting on two years of blogging for this site, but first I would like to thank you, our readers, for your continued support. 

I started blogging in 2011 in high school, which was followed by many, many stints writing for other people, especially in the realm of entertainment, including Goomba Stomp Magazine, The Huffington Post, The Odyssey, Hubpages, Her Campus, my college newspaper, and I even had my own entertainment blog for a brief time through my local newspaper. 

In 2018, I wanted a site to call my own, and InReview was born. Since then, three other writers have joined this site, and we even became a part of the Large Association of Movie Blogs (the LAMB) this year. 

The coronavirus pandemic has thrown some unique challenges our way, and I also wanted to use this post as an opportunity to be transparent on how this has affected the site. 

First thing I would like to say is InReview is going nowhere. I just renewed the site’s domain and hosting plan, and we will continue to provide our readers quality entertainment commentary on a regular basis through 2021 and hopefully beyond. The only thing that will change is its frequency. 

InReview currently utilizes an all-volunteer staff, and the site doesn’t make any money. We all have lives outside this site, which have been greatly disrupted by the coronavirus. And it is for this reason that some contributors have been posting less frequently than usual. 

Despite this, our readership continues to grow, and I suspect that we will come out of this pandemic stronger than ever.
